Stiuideo na Coiribe is an art school located by the scenic shores of Lough Corrib, eleven miles north of Galway City.

The art classes are carried out in the working studio of a professional artist - Jim Kavanagh, who has been painting for over 20 years.

After finishing art college he lectured in fine art at third level in England until deciding to paint fulltime. Jim exhibits in Galway, Dublin and around Ireland, as well as in London.

He is represented at world art fairs by ‘Comtempory Irish’ - a London based art dealership. His work has been bought by corporate clients in Ireland and the UK, and his work is held in private collections worldwide.
