All levels of ability are welcome.

 

- Classes are held in the morning 10am - 12.30pm and in the evening 7.00-9.30pm with time included for setting and finishing up. Coffee, tea and goodies are served

 

- Students learn a variety of skills such as pencil and charcoal drawing, pen and ink drawing, acrylic and oil painting. Subjects include landscape drawing and painting, still-life drawing and painting and portrait painting. Students are also taught the techniques of the Old Masters

 

- Classes take place in a cozy atmosphere, in an artist’s working studio (sometimes joined by Eddie the dog who hogs the old Jubilee range!)

 

- Classes are small (no more than eight) to ensure quality of tuition, and the emphasis is on learning while having fun.

 

- Students have the opportunity of exhibiting their artwork and showing the fruits of their time to family and friends at an annual Stiuideo na Coiribe exhibition in Galway City.
